In January we requested prayer in light of a wave of arrests of Christians in Iran over the Christmas period and into the new year.

There have been developments for some of the individuals highlighted in our January Persecuted but not forsaken prayer resource. J, who was arrested in January, and A, arrested in December, were released last month on bail. They are waiting to hear if they will be prosecuted. A & N, a married couple, were arrested on Christmas Eve. A has been freed but N remains behind bars.

These individuals, as well as others caught up in this wave of arrests, would cherish your prayers. Please pray with us for:

• The release of every Christian arrested for their faith, for the case against each of them to be dropped, and for the peace of the Lord to surround them

• The Lord to heal the mental, physical and spiritual wounds inflicted on these Christians during these difficult times

• The families of those affected - spouses, children, parents - to know the grace and provision of God as they navigate such a difficult season
