Elam’s four-minute film, Interview With An Unborn Child, was released this week on the internet in English and Persian. In just a few days over two thousand people have watched the film and left very positive comments. One viewer said, ‘I’ve never seen anything quite like this. It is very sad, but very powerful.’ Another, ‘This is a video everyone should see. Very powerful and it left me in tears.’ Both in Iran and the West some Iranians are not sure about the value of the foetus, especially in the early weeks of pregnancy. The aim of the film is to show that the baby is a unique being – from conception.
